Our Dental Team

Amber has been working in the dental field for two decades now, first joining Dr. Taylor’s team 12 years ago. As our patient and insurance coordinator (as well as a registered dental assistant), she loves getting to know every patient very well throughout their appointments. She studied at Houston Dental Assisting School and is certified in CPR, radiology, and nitrous oxide. Originally form Hempstead, she has two sons named Trent and Tracer and a husband of 20 years named Frank. Her hobbies include fishing, doing crafts, reading, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends.

An interesting fact about Amber: Her favorite thing about her job in dentistry is changing a patient’s negative outlook on dental treatment into a wonderful experience.

Melodie has been working in dentistry for almost a decade now, having spent the last seven years as a part of our dental family. She received her training at Houston Dental Assisting School and is certified in CPR, nitrous oxide, and radiology. She loves that no two days of working in a dental office are the same! Originally from Buffalo, she is married with a two-year-old daughter named Charlee and two Boxers. Outside of the office, she enjoys going on weekend adventures with her daughter, playing sand volleyball, and visiting family.

Shelby is originally from Beaumont, and she first got her start in the world of dentistry four yeas ago. She attended college at Lamar University and is certified in nitrous oxide, dental sealants, and diode lasers. She has undergone training as a Laser Safety Officer and is also an associate in early childhood care and development. What she enjoys most about her work with Dr. Taylor is being able to relieve patients of their dental anxiety and give them a genuinely great experience as a hygienist. She absolutely loves changing people’s opinions about the dentist’s office and creating relationships with them! Outside of work, she is proud to have been raised in a very close-knit Christian home and has two spoiled Maltipoo fur babies named Millie and Moe. Her hobbies include being outdoors, playing water sports, hiking, swimming, dancing, hunting deer, watching movies, traveling the world, and much more. An interesting fact about Shelby: She enjoys collecting cookbooks – everything from baking to gourmet chef books!

Ashleigh is a new addition to our dental team, but she’s been working in this field for three years so far. She is from Carrollton and attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry. As one of our hygienists, her favorite part of this job is getting to create happy, healthy smiles. Outside of the office, she has a younger brother and sister. Her hobbies include reading comics and watching superhero movies. An interesting fact about Ashleigh: Her Hogwarts letter never came, but thankfully she had dental hygiene to fall back on!

Services from your Woodland Dentist

When you have a family to take care of, time can be in short supply. That’s why we provide a wide variety of dental services that can help smiles of all ages, eliminating tedious visits to other offices. From routine hygiene to revitalizing restorative care to Invisalign treatment and much more, Dr. Taylor, the dentist Woodlands residents trust, and his team have the skills and dedication needed to not only meet, but exceed your expectations.

At the foundation of our services is your twice-yearly dental checkup. These appointments serve as the baseline from which we develop a treatment plan to help you maintain your best oral health. Beyond cleaning and polishing your teeth, one of our skilled hygienists will also examine your teeth and gums, looking for signs of decay or gum disease. Periodically, we will also take digital x-rays to find any concerns that are not visible to the naked eye, such as a cavity between two teeth or infection developing deep inside a tooth. Another very important component of a checkup is an oral cancer screening. This disease is highly treatable and curable when found early.

Similarly, other oral and dental health concerns are relatively easy to treat when found sooner rather than later. Some of the restorative treatments Dr. Taylor offers to repair your smile include:

  • Tooth-Colored Fillings
  • Dentures and Partials
  • All Porcelain Crown, Inlays and Onlays
  • Root Canals
  • CEREC one-visit crowns and other restorations
  • Bridges
  • Dental Implants

For those times when you want to enhance your smile, we have a number of cosmetic treatments. One of the most cost-effective is teeth whitening with Zoom! Whitening. In just one appointment, you can have a smile that is several shades brighter and whiter.

Have a chipped or slightly cracked tooth? Cosmetic bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin material to rebuild and reshape your tooth. If you have several teeth that are chipped, cracked, misshaped or slightly misaligned, then consider porcelain veneers. These coverings are adhesively bonded to your teeth, so you can present an aesthetically pleasing smile to family, friends and colleagues.

We proudly serve patients in Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Houston and surrounding communities. Call our office in The Woodlands, TX today to schedule an appointment for yourself or another member of your family.
